This course provides the tools, strategies and instructional materials to equip you for teaching this subject and preparing your students. Topics include the individual and language, the nation and language, globalized language. A program of vocabulary and grammar study complements content units that use authentic texts for text-handling, genre analysis, written response, written production and oral production. Planning, drafting, peer feedback and editing are components of written production throughout the course.
